Being an expatriate (not from UK, however lived there 15years) and moving to Riga 5 years ago, have my own thoughts about this... Guess those guys got no choice than to ask the girls to go somewhere else because, to start with - themselves would never survive in this country, not only due to monetary issues but also culture, language, etc... In the UK, they can live without being able to speak English whatsoever. As for those that think that all girls want to leave Latvia... Wrong, very wrong!!!

What my friends was saying Eric is that Baltic girls do not like being stereotyped. Also you have to realise that there is more to Latvia than sex tourism.

Indeed, Eric, sex industry is a fact for any country, most likely also including your own, wherever you come from. And even though there is sex industry in Baltics, it doesn't mean ALL Baltic girls are sluts waiting to be paid by the rich guys from UK. better don't generalise, or else I will start to do the same with you.
But I usually find it so funny when such "UK" man (who can barely put three words together in English, or rather in Inglish :D) thinks that visiting him in UK would be my life-time number one vacation option and keeps on asking it over and over again.

UK has a sex industry to, infact as we have more cities and more cultures then we probably have more of a sex industry, then of course look at Amsterdam and Thailand.
