I hadn't heard of this saying but I certainly hope it's going to be true. Not like one in Dutch which goes along the lines of "don't trust March, it can still raise it's tail", as in - the end if it can still be cold. Bah!
I'm just having a bad cold right now and therefore reaaaaallllllyyyyy wishing for a real wear-short-sleeves-and-spend-time-outside type of spring

Haha, Baris, happens all too often with myself that I try to tell something and it makes perfect sense to myself... until I think about it (or re-read) and see it did not at all! But you're right, the climate is a bit screwed up, to make an understatement. There's of course also larger climate cycles going on the Earth but this is a bit above the norm.
@ Kevin - in NL we got both the warmest day record and coldest day record right after each other. 4-6th of March had been the warmest in those dates since dunno when with 16-18 degrees... and a week later we were frozen and already had forgotten how a spring felt like and got the coldest record on our hands. Better!

It seems i really blew my mind. I was tryin to say it was 20 degrees last week till thursday. On thursday it droped down to 5 all weekend and today it is 20 again though it was 10 yesterday.

Time will come we shall start telling our kids "once there was a thing called spring.". We have lived and wasted the best times of this planet. Our legacy will be no more then trashed and consumed to the bottom planet. By the way it is 20 ± here last till thursday it was 20 plus again thursday it droped down to 5 degrees celcius all weekend. Yesterday it was 10 now 20. Mind blowing...

Its been a bit mixed the weather here in the part of England where i live the last few days snow,rain the sunny days today here its cloudy and 0.The forecast here for the next week.I used to think it was just the English talk about the weather Latvians and Russians do.
The weather plays havoc with flowers,birds and animals at Spring because of the weather which is not always what you expect it be like in Spring
