If that is the case then I'd also have to agree that it is only a little bit the effect of cultural difference but the fact that she is not serious with you. You take her seriously but she sees perhaps you as one of many possibilities and as such she doesn't feel responsible for the relationship. I am not defending her, I wouldn't play such games myself, but I am trying to give an explanation. In either way, I think it is wise to move further if you, unlike her, are looking for serious relationship. Don't try to control her too much.. it most likely won't work and will end up with more lies.

Roger, seems to me you've started to control this girl by i.e. stopping her drinking and also dont trust her. Thats not love.

Certainly... The Best version would be such -  not necessary to create such situations and then there will be no jealousy....
