I do not agree with Tiger, because as of now, you are making too much of generalisation and idealisation. Now you are describing an ideal girl, but also that one could belong to any nationality. You cannot imagine how often I have also heard the opposite being said about Latvian women, as calculating, proud, looking for money only, no true feelings, cheating and so on. Therefore I say, that there is both good and bad in any nationality, and you can get lucky or not with a Latvian girl or any other.

I do not agree with Lizzy,Latvian girls are humble and tender,and they are faithful,all a Latvian girl wants is respect,attention and understanding,and by return she will give her soul and life to her man,
ofcourse girls in Riga are not considered ORIGINAL Latvian girls,becuase they are spoiled by tourists and they became liers and all they want is money.

I'd say just the nationality. There is as much variability in character and looks as with any other girls from other countries. I wouldn't be able to give you any particular "Latvian" trait which wouldn't be shared by other neighboring countries to some extent.

lizzy i think you are right about a long distance relationship surviving if its strong enough.
i had a couple which i though were but sadly though they were working it just was not enough for the final hurdle to develop further and being together long term.

John, I can say only this - if the relationship is strong enough to start with, then it will survive also separation. However, if it is just a fleeting temptation, then it is not strong enough.
