Dear friends: our dads and mums are getting older and older and their health conditions are going down year by year, the days we are able to do something for them are becoming less and less. Let's try to be very kind to our parents before it's too late. During the thousands of years of Chinese history, we have called this "Filial Piety".

January 11 2013 20:56I absolutelly agree with that. Considering our generation differences and the (stupid in some cases) evolution of the human being, we will never do as much for our parents as they did for us. Greetings from someone who was raised in HK!

January 11 2013 20:36You are right there Denis i was concerned about my mum over the festive season as she has breathing problems.
She was trying to rush around doing everything and tiring herself out.
Sometimes you forget all that your parents do for you since the day you were born.
Us grown up children obviously try to help with thins that need doing when possible and grand childen also.
